Where to live?

I guess it's getting to that point where I want to move again. South Florida sucks, it's expensive, people are rude, there is not too much to do for locals, great for tourists. Housing is too expensive for the city that was rated the poorest city to live in based on cost of living to income ratios. So where to go?

I have debated moving back to NC, Charlotte area or even up to the mountains like Asheville area. Maybe back to Minneapolis or Boston, two great cities. Chicago seems to be ringing a bell, with lots of work a great city and affordable NICE ass housing. Portland OR sounds awesome but I am leary of the job market there.

Then is the question of schools for the boys, they are in good schools here, in a shitty school system so we are lucky. But other cities have different issues and moving there can be good or bad..it's alot about luck.

How will another move affect my oldest and middle boy???uhhhhh!

Of course then there is always Spain and back to my wifes family home. It is essentially up for grabs since her grandmother is in a nursing home, and we could get simple little jobs to survive.
